Looking to start a Chapter of Healing with Music?

Healing with Music offers a variety of opportunities to put your musical abilities to play by healing your community.  The best way you can bring this to your local community is by starting a chapter.

Just shoot us a DM on Instagram @healingwmusic if you are interested in initiating a chapter of your own!

Current Chapters:

  • Colorado Springs, Darray Robinson

What you need to get started:

  • Chapter Leader(s): Healing With Music is a student-led organization, so a chapter should be driven by high school students right from the beginning.
  • Existing Community: Look for an existing community of youth that will serve as the foundation for your chapter. This community could be based in a school, congregation, community center, or a similar group that already includes a minimum of 10 youth participants.
  • Musicians/Musical Groups: Available student performers (ie.  orchestra, chorus, band, etc.) to play at various locations (hospitals, nursing homes, etc).

What we (the Board at Healing With Music) provide:

  • Operational Support: You’ll have access to Healing With Music’s infrastructure for data systems, fundraising, communications, social media, marketing, and more.
  • Colleagues: You’ll be part of a cohort of new chapter startup teams, who meet every month via video. You’ll get to meet other passionate leaders and musicians from different places, as you support each other and inspire each other with your programs.
  • Virtual Mentoring: Your chapter will be overseen by the board to ensure productivity, efficiency and help along the way. We will be available by email and videoconference to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and help you with program and fundraising opportunities.
